We Need One More Community-Minded Director!

EPRD has one vacant seat on its five-member Board of Directors — and we are looking for a volunteer who wants to help make a difference in Eastern Plumas County.

The Board is seeking to appoint one qualified candidate to serve a two-year term as an EPRD Director.

To qualify, you must be a registered voter and resident within the Eastern Plumas Recreation District boundaries. The District encompasses a large portion of Eastern Plumas County, including all of Supervisor District 5 and portions of Supervisor Districts 1 and 2. Some areas within Eastern Plumas County, including territory within the City of Portola, are not within EPRD boundaries.

We're looking for someone who cares about our communities and would enjoy helping us:

• Plan the future Chilcoot Community Park & Recreation Center
• Pursue grants and partnerships for recreation
• Expand opportunities for children, families and seniors
• Support outdoor recreation and community programs
• Help shape the future of EPRD

No special background is required. Bring your experience, your ideas and your enthusiasm for Eastern Plumas County.

Our Directors are volunteers, and the Board generally meets once a month on the third Tuesday at 5:30 PM.
