Mimi Garner, Director
Margaret "Mimi" Garner has been a director off and on since January, 2014. She has been a Plumas County resident since 1995. Garner has been a businesswoman all of her life and is a seasoned and experienced Realtor Broker. She developed the Gold Mountain residential development, Dragon Golf Course and the Frank Lloyd Wright "Nakoma" Clubhouse which draws thousands of visitors from around the world to Plumas County. She is currently a real estate broker and member of the Plumas Association of Realtors. She was a candidate for District 5 Board of Supervisor in 2018 and 2022 and plans to run again. She is active in community service. She is pioneering and envisioning a commuter train that will run from Portola to downtown Reno.
Mimi enjoys public service for the benefit of the community. Her hobbies include mountain living, dog walking, bird watching, Jeeping, hiking, pet sitting and golfing (sometimes).
