Elections of Board Membes is held in every odd year during District Elections held by the State of California. You can apply to run for one District office. The Plumas County elections office is locatedin the Plumas County Court House at 520 Main Street, Quincy, CA within the County Clerks office. Contact the the PC Clerk at 530-283-6605.
Board members serve staggered 4 year term with terms ending in odd years. If a board member is appointed to the board to serve out the term of an board member that has resigned, they serve until the end of that term.
Any registered voter of the District can run for District offices. They must live within the District which they serve.
