A Winterfest event is being planned for Presidents Day weekend, February 18-20. The event will include winter games, contests, DJ or live music, sled races for kids etc. In addition, Sledding Day will be held on Saturday and Monday and Longboard Races on Sunday. That weekend we are planning to kick off a live/ online crowdfunding campaign that will last thru the last Longboard Race on Sunday, March 19. The campaign goal is twofold- 1) to raise funds for a new ADA compliant restroom adjacent to lodge and  2) secure a long term 3 phase portable power source to power all facilities including a double chair lift. Consensus is that these two  improvements are paramount for bringing to operation a functioning lift among many other benefits. Stay tuned for more details on the Winterfest and fundraising event.
