Margaret "Mimi" Garner has been a director of-and-on since January, 2014. She has been a Plumas County resident since 1995. Garner has been a businesswoman all of her life. She developed the Gold Mountain residential development, Dragon Golf Course and the Frank Lloyd Wright "Nakoma" Clubhouse which draws thousands of visitors from around the world to Plumas County. She is currently a real estate broker and member of the Plumas Association of Realtors. She was a candidate for District 5 Board of Supervisor in 2018. She active in community service. She is pioneering a commuter train that will run from Portola to downtown Reno.
Mimi enjoys public service for the benefit of the community. Her hobbies include mountain living, dog walking, bird watching, Jeeping, hiking, pet sitting and golfing (sometimes).
